Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight round fight which will be streamed live on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" his opponent as the two fighters confronted each other to build hype for next month's bout.
Ex two-time unified heavyweight champion Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive mismatch - at Miami's venue on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I will damage his features and damage his physique. My goal is to show my superiority," the British boxer, 35, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Civil Exchange
Despite these statements, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally recognized for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead attacked former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou turned down a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, at the same time, targeted UK rival Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"[Paul] outshines Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua stated.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite saying he intends to damage his opponent, Joshua declined to talk badly about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
Still, the inexperienced fighter is still one of boxing's largest financial successes, regularly earning huge paydays.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old anticipated a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would stop the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul said.
Physical Difference
As Joshua and Paul engaged in the customary face-off, with their height and weight contrast evident, it emphasized just how improbable this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the match is actually proceeding.
